Briefly Scene was founded on a simple observation: the tableware makes an event truly memorable. The designer pieces, the heritage brands, the objects with genuine provenance - simply weren't available to hire. Anywhere.

For Lewis, who has spent over thirteen years producing events for private clients, high-net-worth individuals, global corporations and luxury fashion houses across Sydney, Melbourne, London and Manchester, that gap was impossible to ignore. Working at the highest levels of event production teaches you something quickly: guests remember how a table made them feel.

Briefly Scene exists to close that gap.

The table has always mattered.

The formal dinner party never really left. It simply waited for the world to remember what it was missing.

What We Believe

The right objects carry weight, history and intention in a way that generic hire inventory never can. Delivery & Styling

Once you have fallen in love with a collection, the process is handled with the care it deserves. Every piece leaves us immaculately prepared: glassware hand-polished, crockery inspected, each item packaged with the kind of attention that tells you, before you've even opened the box, that something special is about to happen.

Delivery is white glove, coordinated around your schedule, and handled as though the pieces were our own. Because to us, they are.

On arrival, you have a choice: dress the table yourself, with the confidence that everything you need is exactly as it should be - or invite Lewis to do it for you. Table styling is available as an additional service, bringing the same eye that has dressed events for luxury fashion houses and famous faces to your dining room, terrace, or marquee.

Once your hire is confirmed, Lewis is available to consult on the elements that complete the picture - from catering and florals to staffing and service. Not as an agency, but as a trusted advisor who understands your vision and knows exactly who to call.

Every supplier recommended by Briefly Scene has been vetted personally. Every introduction is made with your standard in mind, not a referral fee.

From First Call, To Final Setting

Perhaps you simply want the table to be perfect when you walk in. No coordination, no logistics, no back and forth with venues and delivery windows. Just the room, dressed and ready, exactly as you imagined it.

We can arrange that too. Briefly Scene will liaise directly with your venue, your caterer, your florist, whoever needs to be spoken to, so that on the evening, your only role is to be the host. Unhurried. Prepared. Present.
